Models no longer in interface, but subscription views functional RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've got a very strange issue. I just went into our MDS development environment and none of the models are available either through the drop down or through system administration. The views, and obviously the data, are still intact and everything is functioning properly.  It is just that the models have disappeared.  What do I do?

    Thanks,

  • Wow, I don't guess anyone has seen this behavior out of the UI yet?  Not good.  I'd hate to have to redeploy it.

  • hi Gerry,

you could try to create only a new MDS website and assign it to your current db

  • Xavier,

We are trying to maintain the same URL through all our development environments.  What are our other options?

    Thanks,

  • you could delete the old broken website from IIS and create it back with mds configuration manager with  the same parameters

it won't affect your MDS DB

    OR

you keep URL and also url PORT ?

because you could only change the PORT

    e.g.

    http://yourURL:3030/ for MDS website 1

    http://yourURL:4040/ for mds website 2

with both sites directed to the same MDS DB
