Azure Storage Client Nuget Package won't install

    Question

  • Hi,

I'm trying to install the microsoftazure.storage package in my uwp application and I get these errors on the dependencies.

    Microsoft.Data.OData 5.7.0 is not compatible with UAP,Version=v10.0.
    System.Spatial 5.7.0 is not compatible with UAP,Version=v10.0.
    Microsoft.Data.Edm 5.7.0 is not compatible with UAP,Version=v10.0.

I have the current version of Nuget installed and my Visual Studio 2015 is up to date. What do I have to do to get these packages to install?

    thnx

    Brian

  • Okay in the thread that Sakthis pointed me to I found this entry:

    These are the steps:

    • download the latest nuget.exe from https://dist.nuget.org/index.html
    • list the local cache with this command:
      nuget locals all -list
    • clear all caches with this command:
      nuget locals all -clear

After doing that my project had a huge number of errors but I recompiled and Nuget downloaded a bunch of files and the project was restored to normal. Then I installed windowsazure.storage without a problem. Thanks for your help.
