Problem Making Run-Time Image RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

    I'm trying to build a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 Operating system in Visual Studio 2005 based on a BSP from Karo Electronics (ARMV4i).

    The building process is succeed but when i try to Make Run-Time Image i get an error saying that a file is missing (fslmm_mx27.bib ):

    fmerge for Windows CE (Release) (Built on Apr  5 2006 11:32:16)
    Error - cannot open file "C:\WINCE600\platform\TX27v12\SRC\Multimedia\misc\fslmm_mx27.bib"

    #include "$(_TARGETPLATROOT)\SRC\Multimedia\misc\fslmm_mx27.bib"
    makeimg: FATAL ERROR: Command returned non-zero exit code 1 (dec).
    makeimg: FATAL ERROR: Command returned non-zero exit code 1 (dec).
    HEADWAY_SO_17_12_2010 - 4 error(s), 0 warning(s)

    I've checked in this folder and that file doesn't exist. Can anyone please tell why VS2005 can not find find file, or how to solve this problem?

    Thank you

  • If the file doesn't exist in the directory then obviously compiler will throw error.

    If you didn't have that file in the specified directory then comment out the following line in the Platform.bib file of your BSP.

    #include "$(_TARGETPLATROOT)\SRC\Multimedia\misc\fslmm_mx27.bib"

    Or Check with your BSP vendor for the requirement of corresponding file.
