  • Hi,

The .NET Framework is Microsoft's application development platform that enables developers to easily create Windows applications, web applications, and web services using different programming languages, and without having to worry about low-level details like memory management and processor-specific instructions.

.NET Framework is language independent. You can write .NET applications using different programming languages,  C# is the one of the most popular language among them.

  • Hello,

C# is a type-safe, object-oriented language that is simple yet powerful, allowing programmers to build a breadth of applications.

Visual C# is not a language. Visual Studio supports Visual C# with a full-featured Code Editor, project templates, designers, code wizards, a powerful and easy-to-use debugger, and other tools.

  • Hi,

C# is a language where as Visual C# is just a name given to product family of development environments and nothing else. Visual C# is neither a language nor a tool.
