Pocket PC: C++ & VB.Net RRS feed

    Hello. I am beginner programmer in both VB.Net and C++, but I need to create an application for a Pocket PC having a C++ functionality working together with VB.Net program (main application running).

    First challange I got is simply adding C++ program as reference to VB program.  The error I get is "A reference to "C++Project"could not be added because it is not a device", even though both C++ and VB projects were created for a Pocket PC, which means they were created for a smart device.

    Also in addition to that I would like to know how programming for mobile devices differs from programming for desktop PC's and what should I watch out for.

    Thank You

    I am assuming you are developnig a mobile winforms application.

    this is an ASP.NET forum which is web based technologies. You may get better responses from a winforms forum like MSDN or the likes of.
