Can word 2007 have more than one header per document? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using open xml and altchunk to build and attach two documents together, the only problem is that the firsts documents header is bleeding onto the inserted sheet.  I don't want that to happen.  I looked inside of word itself, and didn't see any options to insert a second header.  Anyone know how to remove headers from a specific page within a document?

  • Yes, word 2007 document can have as many headers as you want. You have to use section breaks. Programmatically it looks like creation new paragraph in Document.Body with page parameters and there you can place a reference to needed headerpart. Explore microsoft internet sources and find the presentation "WordprocessingMLAdvanced.pptx"  to download. It cans help you.
