Machine Learning (ML.NET): using Bing maps as test data RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm developing a website that needs Bing Map (Or Google or whatever works) as background map.  I'd like, however, for the user to be able to click on the map and the map automatically IDENTIFIES what type of terrain it is.  Basically, whether it's a farm field, a gulch, a river or stream, etc.  Farm field is really my target, so I could show the properties associated with each field that the user selects (its area, type of crop, water yield, water runoff, etc.).

I'm wondering if it would be possible to do this similar to the Iris Data Set in ML.Net sample.  But I'm not sure how to gather all the map data set to use as training data set.

Any advice from anyone with machine learning experience in ML.Net would be greatly appreciated.
