  • Hi Street77,

Do you mean you've created a installer using ClickOnce and meet this problem? Do you have any problem when you build it? Actually if it is a clickonce installer you may get some crash info, we need your crash info to diagnose it.

Here are normal steps to deal with this issue:

Here is an article about specific error:

  • Hi Street77,

Sorry I cannot understand Russian. I guess that info means your computer do not have a installed program that can open the exe. Please consider contact your application vendor about this kind of question since you are not a developer of this app.

  • Hi Street77,

The .application seems belongs to .NET, please use this tool to check installed .NET version on your OS:

By the way, what is your OS version? Can you choose the default program "ClickOnce Application Deployment Support library"?

  • Got the image, but don't understand those characters. @Street77 can you try open the application file with your notepad. To be honest maybe it is just a manifest file or your can consider it is a simple xml file. It is not supposed to be used as an application.

Please check whether it is the first one APPLIcation file or it is an application. If it is the first one, you can ignore it, if it is the second one, could you share where you download this installer?

    Regards,
