Framework 4.0 and 3.5 in the same solution for WCF Services

Question

I'm working on a WCF service in VS 2010 and the target framework for the WCF project is 4.0.  However, I need to reference other existing projects that have their target frameworks as 3.5.  I was able to build and run the WCF service without any issues.  I was just wondering if there are any potential/hidden problems that will surface later on.  Has anyone done something similar?
