  • There are a couple of options. The first is to use the licensing tool and determine if you need a license or if your app meets the requirements for free terms of use: http://www.microsoft.com/maps/Licensing/licensing.aspx When you get to the end of the tool, if you need a license it provides a form for you to fill out with all the details you selected and sends them to the proper team who will then contact you to take things forward.

Another method is to send an email to one of these aliases: America's: maplic@microsoft.com EMEA & APAC: mapemea@microsoft.com

A third option is to use the Contact Us page: http://www.microsoft.com/maps/contact-us.aspx

  • Hello,

Is there anyone who can simplify the licensing / usage / subscription details around Bing Maps?

I want to use the maps to display a route from "Point A" to "Point B". (Around 1000 page views in a day).

I also want to use the maps to get the latitude / longitude for delivery addresses. This is a one time batch process. Once I am done with that, only the newer delivery addresses need to be added. (probably 4 - 5 in a week.)

What kind of licensing should I subscribe to?

If this is not the right forum for this post, please guide me to one.

    Thanks,

    Abhijit

  • Hello Abhijit,

Please reach out to MapLic@Microsoft.com and they can outline the different options available to you.  These are also documented at Microsoft.com/maps and select "Licensing" from the top menu.
