How to get recipients number of outgoing SMS in Windows Mobile RRS feed

  • Hello Every,

    I have developed a application with catch the outgoing and incoming SMS and fetch the data from it.
    Its is working fine but i'm facing problem when i send the a message on multiple number i'm not able to get the all recipients number.
    I'm getting only the 1st number.

    Please help me out to resolve this issue.

  • Could you be more specific on how you catch the outgoing SMS? Could you post the pertinent code?

  • Thanks for your reply.

    For outgoing message i am using IMAPIAdviseSink in that i get notification.

    After getting notification in objectMove i get the body and number of message.

    It shows you Inbox, Outbox, Sent Item, Deleted Item.
    It show not only message but also show E-Mail and SMS.

    I know how to read the message from message store and also i can catch the out going message and get the content from it.

    If you have any idea about how to get number from the outgoing message.

    Suppose I compose one message and add multiple number and send it.

    For this message how i can get all the number to whom i'am sending the SMS.

    I need solution for this.

  • You may probe the IMAPIMessage properties.

     IMAPIMessage msg = messages[smsIndex];
     IMAPIContact[] recipients = msg.Recipients;

    As I understand, you are trying to get the recipient number, right?

    then, explore what is in side the Name and FullAddress Properties.


    recipient.Name
    recipient.FullAddress
