web pages vs web forms vs mvc performance RRS feed

I've used web forms or MVC to create hi traffic web sites ( about 1,000,000 view/day) for many years. now I find razor web pages more interesting and I want to use it for further projects.

Is there any performance benefits to use web pages for simple but hi traffic web sites vs using web forms or MVC? by performance I mean in the completely same environment (hardware, cache, db , ...) which one has fewer footprint and has more page/sec? I think web pages is most lightweight one and uses fewer resource to process requests. am I wrong?

    thanx MVPs

No, not really. The Web Pages framework hasn't been designed to provide any performance benefits over MVC or Web Forms. All three frameworks are very capable of handling high-traffic demands.
