Problems with AIF and Biztalk Server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Went through the configurations for the application integration framework Biztalk adapter configuration for data exchange, proceeded to import the test file into the Contoso (CEU) company and am running into the following error.  When i drop the xml file into the inbox i can see it disappear but nothing appears in the configured out folder and i see the following message in the event logs.

The adapter "Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009" raised an error message. Details "Connection with the Application Object Server could not be established.".

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

  • Hi,

Looks like Application Object Server(AOS) cannot be reached or connection cannot be made. Please check if you can resolve the DNS name of the AOS.
It's possible that there is something wrong with your DNS resolution. Please try to add the DNS name (FQDN) and NetBios name to the local
hosts/lmhosts file and try it again. (Source: Microsoft.Public.Axapta).
