How can I populate data from SQL database into Outlook Calendar?

Hello, I have been tasked with this challenge and not really sure where to begin. Obviously, I would prefer a code-based solution in c#. I have an asp.net web application; certain requests that go into this system are based on a calendar date. What I'm looking to do is when a new office move gets created, I would like to insert that into the Outlook calendar. Are there any documents or how-tos that show how this could be done in code-behind?
