about the .exe of: Windows Server Developer Preview with Hyper-V Virtual Machine (x64) - (English)

    Question

  • The "Windows Server Developer Preview with Hyper-V Virtual Machine (x64) - (English)" is a exe file.

I know what to do with .iso, but what about a .exe file for a SO ?

It is a self extracting executable that extracts to a VHD file which
contains an installation of Windows 8 Server. You use the VHD in Hyper-V.
