WPF Page Renders Incorrectly RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a wpf application which is distributed as a smart client. Many clients are running this application without problem. However one client says that every time he launches the application, and displays this page, he sees several rows out of order. He is the only one that has this problem.

Here is an image that illustrates what the customer is seeing.

Now, when he closes the page and reopens it, it displays properly.

Why is everything scrunched up, and why only on his machine?

  • It might be a driver issue, does the customer have a different video card than others you've verified can render the page correctly?  We've seen visual corruption issues very similar to this with certain video cards.  Have them update their video driver to the latest version from the manufacturer, or try disabling hardware-acceleration to see if the problem disappears.

  • I've seen similar things on some machines and it looks like a video
    driver problem to me.
