remove exception days from calendar RRS feed

  • Question

  • Because we have incorrectly set the administrative tasks as "Non-Working", many resources' working days have been changed to "Exceptions" days, can we reset all the those days to normal working days via configuration or with coding?

    Thanks.

  • A simple but tedious solution would be to switch the administrative line to "working time" and ask the users to recall and submit again their timesheets.

    Hope this helps,

  • Hi Kevin,

The exceptions should be added to the resource's calendar. You can try to edit the resources and update their calendars in MS Project

    Hope this helps

  • KevinLi,

By "coding" I assume you mean a macro (VBA) or if you're in a Project Server environment, perhaps PSI. And, yes, you can "fix" the problem with some VBA. I can't speak to PSI since I don't do Server. However, it really depends on how many instances you need to fix. If it's a limited number, then the manual approach may be quicker and easier than an automated approach.
