I don't see the EDI properties in the send port filter dropdown. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Guys/Gals,

I need to route different EDI documents (e.g 850,867) from a single partner to different orchestrations.

    My plan:

Subscribe to the EDI receive port  and filter based on EDI Property (ST01 - Transaction Set Identifier Code)

The problem I'm having is that I don't see the EDI properties in the send port filter dropdown.

(nor   do i  see these properties when using   message assignment shape in my orchestration )

I'm using BT2006 and Base EDI adapter.

Let me know if anyone else out there experienced this problem?

    thanks

    -c

  • Make sure your application has a reference to the EDI application in MMC console.

  • When you use an orchestration to subscribe to the EDI message type you don't use explicitly ST01.
All you need to do is create and use the Port type with request to EDI message type (use this port type for creating Receive port). This EDI message type is accessable when you includethe appropriate schema (e.g.850, 867) in your project  or create a reference to the assembly with this schema.
