    1. Go to https://www.bing.com/api/maps/sdk/mapcontrol/isdk/directionscreatedrivingroute

    2. Modify the route by dragging it with a mouse on map several times (I REPEAT - SEVERAL TIMES).

    3. Look at your console - you should see the aforementioned error. If not - repeat the step 2.

Tested on Chrome/Firefox. Don't have access to Edge/IE but probably would have the same issue.

  • Hi Rokas,

Can you please tells how this error is impacting your map usage?  I believe the map control does work without issue even with this value being null so if that is not so, can you please provide the impact you are seeing?

  • Literally it spams the error logging services.
Of course you could try to somehow ignore these errors but that is a bummer.

  • Did some testing on Edge and surprise surprise - after ~8 drag & drop route changes the map goes blank and the route disappears.

Cannot attach an image because of some stupid "account verification" error.

  • Thanks for getting that detail Rokas.  I have created a bug with the V8 control team with a link to this discussion.  Should you have any more details, please don't hesitate to add them here.

  • Hi Rokas,

The Fix is available in the Branch=Experimental.  Can you please try that option and confirm the issue is fixed for you?  Experimental will be moved to release at the end on the month if no issues are found with the latest updates.
