Crystal report print problem RRS feed

    Hi Guys,

I'm using Crystalreportviewer to populate crystals , but the problem is that the print button is not responding!?

Strange enough, if I run a report  with parameter where I get the crystal report parameter screen popped up and enter a value and then the report generates, the print button works fine  but with reports with no parameters the print doesn't respond! I think maybe with the parameter case the report get refreshed which makes the print button functional, but that does make sense !? am I missing something or is there a configuration to be done inn the browser or crystalreportviewer...etc ?

    thanks

    1. Do you see any Javascript error in Chrome Browser Console, when you try to load a Report without parameters?
    2. What happens if you try to load the Report without parameters in Page_Load or PreRender event?

Nope no errors at all, and the code is actually in page_load,.

    thanks

    Hi rbadis,

but with reports with no parameters the print doesn't respond!

How do you use the parameters in the code?

Please set some BreakPoint in your code and debug your application to check how your application runs.

    Best Regards,

    Jean

    page_load,

Did you try in Page_PreRender or Page_Init method? Many solution online suggests to try one of these methods. Please check.

I've put the code in page_prerender and page_init, the same think the print button doesn't respond, could it be a javascript problem?

could it be a javascript problem?

If it would be JavaScript problem, then you can see that in Browser Console.
