  • You might want to create a background thread that continuously checks the table for any updates and fires some event if there is any change.

  • This may work perfectly if i want to get any new data added to the table,

but how can i detect if an existing record changed?

after search, i found a SQL Dependency Class, but it is still not working and i can't get the data changed but it seems that SQL Dependency may help

  • Hi Kareem,

SQL Dependency Class is ideal for caching scenaios. When you add some instances into cache, SQL Dependency Class will help you to monitor the changes of table. I think it is not suit your application.
