    How do you check a shape has a png? Do you want to get all gif from powerpoint or you want to convert a shape to gif? For exporting gif shape to a gif file, you could try the code below:

    Sub getGif()
    Dim p As PowerPoint.Presentation
    Dim s As PowerPoint.Shape
    Set p = ActivePresentation
    Debug.Print p.Slides.Item(1).Shapes.Count
    Set s = p.Slides.Item(1).Shapes(1)
    's.AlternativeText = "test.gif"
    s.Export "C:\Users\xx\Desktop\T.gif", ppShapeFormatGIF
    End Sub

    If you want all gif files, and you do not need know which shape they are, I suggest you convert file extension of ppt file to zip, upzip this file, and get all gifs in media folder.

    Best Regards,

    Edward
