with the new Kinect1.8 and Fusion SDK how to get intrinsic and extrinsic parameters? RRS feed

  • Hi Guys, 

    I am trying to use the kinect fusion sdk to do a research project based on kinect 3D reconstruction. The fusion sdk provides a great example on how to reconstruct the surface, however, when I look into the code I cannot find the calibration parameters. 

    The only thing i could do was to get the program output the cameratoworldparameters matrix, inside calibration class. I am just wondering, with the new microsoft official sdk, can we actually do the camera calibration in real time without putting a checkboard in the scene? If so, Where can i get it. Thanks. 

    (I heard that openkinect is the only sdk that will provide all kalibration data, can someone confirm it? )
