triggering storyboard in a button's click event RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi,

    1) well i have created a storyboard which slides a window but i want to do it in a button's click event,

right now it gets started in when the form loads.

    2) Moreover i have a problem,

when the animation starts, (window2) slides and it overlaps (window1),

but instead it should go behind the (window1)

    3) i have a user control, and want to use it in blend, i have tried to add reference but the control is not

    visible in the toolbox.

    So, please help me....

  • #1 you can use a behavior (controlstoryboardaction) or do it in the codebehind, behavior is easier

#2 The z order is determined by the order in the xaml, move the one you want on top down in the visual tree (objects and timeline panel) to change the order

#3 Not sure, might require a build after adding the reference?
