  • Hello!

The Cumulative update package 6 for SQL Server Compact 3.5 Service Pack 2 hotfix appears to be no longer available or discontinued.

The KB article page states the following:

If the cumulative update package is available for download, the top of this Knowledge Base article has a "Hotfix download available" section. If this section does not appear, contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support to obtain the cumulative update package.

I suggest you contact Microsoft and check whether you could get the hotfix from somewhere.

    Best regards,

  • Not sure what you mean by "the CU6 package", but contact me by email, and I may be able to assist with the 3.5 hotfix.

  • ”CU6” is a shortening of Cumulative Update 6.

  • Hi Marcus Michaels,

SQL Server Compact 3.5 has been out of support (Extended Support End) at 4/10/2018, I would suggest you using the latest one: SQL Server Compact 4.0

  • SQL Server Compact 4.0 does not support replication, so it is not a viable alternative in this context
