  • In Outlook 2003, we have outlook 2003 addin , which contents Commandbar combobox and also Commandbar buttons, on clicking on commanbar button we will open WPF window, once we open and close WPF window, then Command bar combo box change event is not fired.

    Is there any limitations on Commandbar Combobox ? for triggering change event???

    please help...

  • Are you changing the value selected in the combo? Unless the value in the combox is changed the event won't fire.

  • Hello,

    Yes, you need to change the value. I'd also suggest pressing {Enter} after you change the value. Does it work?

  • Here,CommandbarCombox is of type Editable control, where user can edit his data and click on Enter key then change event is triggered. Here, only problem is .. when user opens WPF window and closes it...CommandbarCombobox change event is not triggering... and also, in other case..when user leaves focus from Editable control then change event is get triggered. We are not understanding behaviour of this control on Outlook 2003. Please help.... Thanks, Sukesh.
