    I need to style a thumb proggramaticaly in vb.

    does someone has a clue on how tocreate a style and assing it in vb?

    You can define style in Xaml with one specifiy key value, and access it at code-behind.
    To set the defined TitleText style on a TextBlock named textblock1, do the following:
    textblock1.Style = (Style)(this.Resources["TitleText"]);
