Data Template with Blend - The button "Define a new Data Template" doesn't appear. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to create and modify a Data-Template of the Items of a ListBox with my Blend 3. I have followed the guide: I have created the data collection. I have binded the Collection to the Listbox Control but in the win-dialog "Create data binding" I don't find the button "Define a new Data Template" (I translate from italian). I have selected the collection (as the guide says) but the button doesn't appear. Why? Can you please help me?

    Than you,

  • The datatemplate is a property of the listbox, so you won't find it on the "create data binding" dialog.  After you have set up the databinding, right click your listbox, select "edit other templates" -> "itemtemplate".
