biztalk 2006 oracle adapter RRS feed

  • i triyng to consume an oracle stored procedure in biztlk 2006

    but im receiving this msg 

    The adapter did not return any service description files

    What Oracle version are you trying to integrated with? The Enterprise Adapters for BizTalk support versions 8i, 9i, and 10g of Oracle. They provide access to Oracle Database tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and PL/SQL packages and is based on ODBC. You need to set up appropriate DSN, ectera. How process works from Visual Studio to LOB, see picture below:

    It seems that connection with Oracle does not succeed in a way that you receive meta data. To be able to do that you need to have DSN setup in ODBC with appropriate configuration, then create a port in BizTalk which points to DSN, ectera. You probably may have done that; if so check if you have the correct Oracle Client.
