Partition is not recognized in Windows Developer Preview

    Question

  • Greetings!

I have recently installed the Windows Developer Preview to another hard drive so I can boot to either Windows 7 or the Preview. Now in the Perview one Partition is not recognized as NTFS, while the other one on that disk is, and so can not be mounted while in Windows 7 it works perfectly fine.

diskpart told me "There is no volume associated with this partition." but there obviously is as it Mounts in Windows 7.

I already ran a file System check in Windows 7 without encountering any error.

Any help and suggestions would be very much appreciated!

  • I solved the problem. The Partition had a wrong gpt id. I used "SET ID=ebd0a0a2-b9e5-4433-87c0-68b6b72699c7" and now the Partition works as supposed.
