Storage with AZ cloud shell RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,
The AZ cloud shell is causing me some trouble. The thing is that I'd like to have the storage account associated to a specific resource group (the reason for this need is because of using some services from it). I can achieve this by simply changing the storage resource group from cloud-shell-storage-usEast to my RG (e.g. "Bench") through the console (this works as expected). The issue is that after the session times out and tries to restart, the AZ cloud shell claims that there is no storage account and prompts for its creation. If I go to advanced settings, the selection is there but the create storage button is just greyed out (screenshot below).
    Thanks.

  • Delete the resource group and the storage account, restart Cloud Shell, and configure the storage account for Cloud Shell from the interface on the screenshot in your post above
