  • Hi,

Is it possible, using PSI, save a project from Project Server 2010 to mpp or xml to offline usage?

    Thanks

  • Hi Ricardo,

The PSI is a server-side API, it can't save a project to an mpp or xml file. You can automate Project Pro to open a project and save it by using VBA or VSTO.

  • Hi Jim,

    Thanks for your reply.

I know that the PSI is server side, I was hoping, programmatically, to be able to get a project as XML or mpp and save it to sharepoint list. Users need to download it before travelling .
