Webapi code doesnt get updated

Hi all. I have a very weird problem with visual studio. I am building a webapi, everytime i add new code in my controllers and rebuild the solution, the webapi keeps showing old versions of the webapi. I double checked my compile and build options and made sure they are set to debug. I have no idea why it is happening. I am using visual studio 2017. Any ideas?

it depends on what is the Web server. If it's IIS Express, there should be no problems. If it's local IIS, there could be a deployment issue,

Hi,

try a Clean solution first, then a regular build. Something that I also try sometimes when this doesn't work is to make a clear coding error that doesn't build, let it build, get all the output in the error window, fix the mistake again, then build. Sometimes that actually does the trick (even though it's not a nice solution in the first place).
