Windows Store Data Caching? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Just trying to get a feeling for how the Windows Store CDN/Caching works.

In my case, I submitted a Release 2 for an app in the store that contained a different logo and price, etc.  So far, a day after the release was published, the store still shows the old information (and in-app purchase still shows old pricing when the listing information was retrieved).  The details from the dashboard shows the current information.

Is this normal behavior, and we should expect something like 1-2 days for cached data to be refreshed?  Or, should situations like this be escalated somewhere (aside from this forum) so that it can be investigated?

  • Hi JasonFollas,

Has the information been updated for your app in the Store?  If not, please submit a request at https://getsupport.microsoft.com/. Please remember to sign in under your developer account.

    Thanks-

  • As a follow-up, it did eventually update.  However, it was something like 2 days after the approval before the listing showed the correct information (until then, it displayed the previous release's information).
