PHP Manager 'file failed signature verification'

Cannot install PHP Manager with Web Platform Installer 5.0 on Windows Server 2016. Install fails instantly with error:

"This product did not install successfully: Downloaded file failed signature verification and may have been tampered with"

• .NET 3.5 is installed
• Set HKLM/System/CCS/Services/W3SVC/Parameters/MajorVersion registry key to 9
• Deleted Web Platform Installer cache

Previously installed fine on Windows Server 2016. Any suggestions or ideas?

I have exactly the same issue.

I ensured CGI and .net 3.5 are installed

I made the registry version change

I tried PHP 7.1.7 (x64) and 5.6.31 and received the same error

I disabled windows defender with no change.

I ended up installing PHP without the Manager from Web Platform Installer then downloaded the installation media from the site referenced in the below article.

Hi JayUte,

It is a pure server side issue. So we can't install it via web platform installer until they fix this issue.  In addition, Mrslim's link has provided the GitHub link to download php manager msi package. So you could just download and install it manually.

Good find!

Can confirm PHPManagerForIIS-1.4.0-x64 - IIS 10.msi successfully installed PHP Manager on Server 2016.
