visual studio 2008 does not support mobile device development any way around this? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am programming on a Motorola scanner and I can't seem to connect to the visual studio. I have contacted Motorola support and they seem to figure that this is because visual studio doesn't support app development only the professional version does.

Is there a way around this, or do I have to purchase VS Pro 2008. I don't mind purchasing it but I can't seem to find a download link. I have only found them on eBay and the shipping is going to delay my development.

  • Get a Visual Studio subscription. With that you get access to all versions of VS, old and new.
