Custom page layouts and rating issues. RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have create a custom content type inherited by Page, I have create a Publishing sub site and I have added my custom content type to the Page library. I have enable the rating on that library. For the standard Page the rating it's working but for my custom page I get the following error:

    Item does not exist. It may been deleted by another user.

    Could you explain if and how is it possible solve this problem, please?

    I tried to create a custom content type inherited by Article Page, however, after created the page, the rating for the page is available.

    I would suggest you can try to create a new Pages library and then test if it works. If the issue still exists, I would suggest you can provide more detailed information, such as screen capture and SharePoint Build version.

    Also, please check ULS log for more detailed information. You can use ULSViewer to check log more easily.
