CDO.SYS-Error after Windows Update RRS feed

    Hi, we send mails via cdo.sys. Last night the new windows-updates were installed. And now the cdo-script shows this:

    "An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator.

    If you are the system administrator please click here to find out more about this error."

    This is my testscript:

    -----------

    <!--
    METADATA
    TYPE="typelib"
    UUID="CD000000-8B95-11D1-82DB-00C04FB1625D"
    NAME="CDO for Windows 2000 Library"
    -->
    <%
    Set cdoConfig = CreateObject("CDO.Configuration")

    With cdoConfig.Fields
    .Item(cdoSendUsingMethod) = cdoSendUsingPort
    .Item(cdoSMTPServer) = "my ip"
    .Update
    End With

    Set cdoMessage = CreateObject("CDO.Message")

    With cdoMessage
    Set .Configuration = cdoConfig
    .From = "my address"
    .To = "my second address"
    .Subject = "Samplemail"
    .TextBody = "a little bit content"
    .Send
    End With

    Set cdoMessage = Nothing
    Set cdoConfig = Nothing

    Response.write "<HTML><head><title>A message has been sent.</title></head><body>A message has been sent.</body></HTML>"

    %>

    ----------

    Has anyone an idea?

    Best regards

    Ralf

    Hi hochhardt,

    The error message "An error occurred on the server when processing the URL." means that an code error occur when you was trying to run the classic ASP web application. So if you need to fix this issue, you have to get the accurate error message first. Open IIS manager->site level->ASP->debugging properties->send error to browser->true.
