    New to Web Farms

    My Environment

    VMware ESXI 6.5

    Windows 2012 R2 Data Center.

2 Windows 2012 R2 Data Center running NLB, ARR IIS DFSR

2 Windows 2012 R2 Data Center Web Servers IIS

    I host several Web Sites

    SharePoint 2010     port 80

    My Music Site         port 80

    My Sports Site.        port 80

    Veeam Enterprise Manager   port 9080

AD Manager                           port 8080    NOT IN IIS

Exchange Report                    port 8181    NOT IN IIS

Last three are third party applications

All sites work when I browse from my Windows 10 desktop directly to one of the web farm servers both work

With using the Network Load Balancer Virtual IP address I can only get to my sports site

    I have a few questions

    1. 1.  how do I setup the bindings on the web farm servers IIS?  What is the best method to use?

    2. on the Load Balancer I set up all the ports  Do I need to create the web sites on the Load balancer IIS?

    3. I have the server farms defined on the load Balancer Servers The URL Rewrite I have rules setup

    Any help would be great

    Thank you

    Tom

    Jalpa,

I got it working on three of my sites under IIS

In the URL rewrite Rule I had to fix the pattern

I had this www.mysite.com   needs to be  ^www\.mysite\.com$

The other two sites using port 8080 and 8181  are run under Tomcat -Apache trying to figure out how to load balance them too,

I have a Kemp Load Balancer also and working with them on that now.

    Thanks for all your help

Show their site bindings and then others might know what you are talking about.

    Hi trgrassijr69,

    1.  how do I setup the bindings on the web farm servers IIS?  What is the best method to use?

In my opinion bind your server farm iis site with server ip and default port wit host name:

    2. on the Load Balancer I set up all the ports  Do I need to create the web sites on the Load balancer IIS?

You need to create same site on all the server IIS.

    3. I have the server farms defined on the load Balancer Servers The URL Rewrite I have rules setup

under server farm select ->routing rule from feature view ->select url rewrite from action pane set below rule:
