  • What level of knowledge/skill/experience does one need before starting to use MSRS?

  • Speaking only anecdotally, if you have experience in OOP and some understanding of concurrency you are well-equipped to program services with MSRS.  If all you want to do is use the VPL to connect services together then considerably less knowledge is needed.

  • Its hard to judge this in general since it depends on your background. I recommend reviewing our on-demand video tutorials first, browshing through them quiclkly to get an idea of what we require. Our visual tool requires no programming background but if you have one, it will definately help. Writing services in C#, VB.NET etc does require software coding experience

  • Would it not be possible to specify, in terms of Microsoft Certification, what standard is required?
