Creation of calculated SharePoint priority filed base on due date field of task list. RRS feed

  • Hi,

    How it is possible to create a field that depend on the due date field of the task list?

    1-if the task due(due date) with in week then the priority field show high.

    2-if the task due(due date) with in month then the priority field show medium.

    3-if the task due(due date)  with in more then month the priority field show low.

    From your description, my understanding is that you want to create calculated priority filed base on due date field of task list.

    First create a calculated column named "cal date" which is used to calculated the number of days between the Start Date and Due Date, set it's formula =DATEDIF([Start Date],[Due Date],"d") and returned as a single line of text, refer to the screenshot:

    Second create another calculated column named "priority1" which is based on "cal date" column, refer to the screenshot:
