WCF call is weirdly stop in the middle with no record for error in log RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

    I have strange case which I can't figure out.

    I have a WCF service work in HTTP protocol, the service is working just fine and server hundreds call per day but few of the calls stopped sporadically.

    I turned on the WCF log in verbose mode and it seems like the processing of this specific call stop in the middle while other transaction fee second later gos just fine.

    I attached a print screen of the SVC trace log (see link below).

    I will appreciate if someone have some kind of idea how to deal with it.

    10X in advance.

  • Hi Niros1,

    According to your description, I guess  when you call the WCF service concurrently.

    If there has many calls, and the WCF default MaxConcurrentCalls is 16.

    So, I suggest you can add this node to your web.config file.

    Like below:

    <serviceThrottling maxConcurrentCalls="100" maxConcurrentSessions="100" maxConcurrentInstances="116"/>

    This node should be add as a child node to  behavior(<behavior>)

    For more information, please refer to the following articles:

    I hope that will be helpful to you.

    Best Regards,

    Grady
