Content Editor Web Part Error RRS feed

  • I have to following problem:

    we have a SharePoint site, and on the homepage we have 2 content editor web parts, and these web part contains images from image document library.

    the problem is that web part error appears sometimes for users, when they refresh the error disappear, if hey refresh again the error appears and so on.

    here is the error details:

    [WebPartPageUserException: One of the properties of the Web Part has an incorrect format. Windows SharePoint Services cannot deserialize the Web Part. Check the format of the properties and try again.]

    I have checked the permissions for the image library and all users has permissions.

    please help.

  • I would say remove the image links from the web part and just display a single word or very simple html in the web part and see if it works. First need to troubleshoot if it's the web part or the web part contents. Just use OOB configurations for the web part and see if it works.
