  • Hi,

    Do you mean a workflw that goes back to a previous stage? If so, out of the box, PS workflows are linear and can only move forward. If you need to go back to a previous stage, then perhaps review your stage boundaries to see if they can be changed to stop the need to go backwards.

    You can however fake up a state machine type workflow which will meet your requirement by recreating all the possible state machines branches of the workflow in the code, but it will quickly become monsterious and hard to maintain. Third party workflow products such as nintex or the UMT workflow product may assist.
