  • Newb trying to get Brekel's Kinect app to work eventually. Using the Kinect SDK stuff for now to test functionality.

HA-X79S-UP5-Wifi mobo, BIOS F4u, i7-3930k, GTX 680, Windows 10, display and kinect drivers updated, Kinect for Windows SDK and KFW runtime installed.

Getting the error mentioned above. Windows can detect the Kinect, but no video or 3D data appears when I open either 3D Scan or Kinect Studio.

I have several USB drivers loaded:

    • Fresno Logic USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft)
    • Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub
    • Various USB 2.0 drivers
    • VIA USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 0.96 (Microsoft)

I'm aware that the Intel USB 3 controllers are either preferred or necessary? Unsure if I install them or if I need to remove the Fresno and VIA drivers first? Unsure why I have three types of drivers controlling USB 3?

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks
