Why didn't I choose A1 size when I create a VM in Azure? RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I create a Windows Server virtual machine in Azure, I could only choose DS v1 or v2 or higher size.

I want to choose cheaper size like A1. But A1 does not appear in the list.

I appreciate if someone tell me why.

  • You probably must be selecting SSD on the first screen while creating VM. I would suggest you select HDD as disk type and try again.
