Simple C++ Express Edition Question

Does Visual C++ 2008 support Windows API? I know it doesn't support MFC.

It is the other way around, Windows SDK supports Visual C++ Express (except some tools that require Visual C++'s extensibility support such as the SDK configuration tool).
