SSIS 2012 Deployment Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Guys,

On my SSIS service box, I developed an SSIS project and tride to deploy to local under the execution account of myself. The account has the sysadmin permission on SSISDB server and full permission of SSIS instance.

The deployment from Data Tool(Right click project-->Deploy) or manually from the ispac file does not work for both and the error message shows as below.

And Already SSIS instance runs under a domain account.

A .NET Framework error occurred during execution of user-defined routine or aggregate "deploy_project_internal":

System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: A required privilege is not held by the client

    System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception:

       at Microsoft.SqlServer.IntegrationServices.Server.ISServerProcess.StartProcess(Boolean bSuspendThread)

at Microsoft.SqlServer.IntegrationServices.Server.ServerApi.DeployProjectInternal(SqlInt64 deployId, SqlInt64 versionId, SqlInt64 projectId, SqlString projectName)

    . (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)

Who can share some ideas on this?

    Derek

  • How did you change service user account, with SQL Config Manager or Services console? If you don't use SQL Config proper user rights are not given to service user account.

Try doing what guys described here.

  • Hi Derek,

Did you start Process Monitor to see if isdeploymentwizard.exe has registry access issues?

Which registry entry from the article you can not find?
