Entity Framework - Informix - Exception while retrieving schema details: DB2Connection.GetSchema("Tables") RRS feed

    I am getting below error when entity framework try to retrieve database schema details from Informix Database using DB2Client:

    IBM.Data.DB2.DB2Exception (0x80004005): ERROR [IX000] [IBM][IDS/UNIX64] SQL0969N

    There is no message text corresponding to SQL error "-23103" in the message file on this work station.

    The error was returned from module "IFC11500" with original tokens "". SQLSTATE=IX000

    Everything worked fine till yesterday, but all of sudden we are getting error.

    Please help.

    According to IBM's informix error listing:

    -23103 Code-set conversion function failed due to an illegal sequence or invalid value.

Illegal or invalid characters occur in the character string. The program could not execute the code-set 
    conversion on the characters that this string contains. Reexamine the input string for illegal or invalid 
    characters and re-execute the program.

    So you will need to do some debugging to determine what characters are being passed that are invalid.  Hope this helps you.
