Azure Information Protection - License question RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We've recently added Azure Information Protection to our system. I'm getting 2 licenses as test however I just realize that all users in our organization are having an option to Protect with Azure's Global Policies and Encryption. The only account in the entire company that has the license is mine so the question is: Is it ok to just have 1 license for me to apply encryption services and emails encryption for everyone in the company? Or does everyone has to have 1 license in order for this to work? What is the point of having multiple licenses if 1 can apply for the entire company? It is because users can now send encrypted emails to others without having a license. I checked online but Microsoft doesn't really specify how these licenses work.

    Please advise,
